I knew there would be more juice to this never ending story!
We all know what happened bewtween Oksana Grigorieva and babby-daddy Mel Gibson, or at least we have heard a version of the events! If you can remember Oksana leaked recorded phone calls of Mel admitting he hit his Russian girlfriend, made racist remarks and called Oksana a "whore" amongst other dreadful things.
Although Oksana has been accused of recording the calls just to get her name in the media, the singer has now said that's not the real reason. Oksana has said she thought Mel would kill her the night he started his violent rant:
"I started taping it around 11 o'clock because I thought I'm actually not going to live through the night,I wanted my mother to be able to prove that if I'm dead that this is who did it."
There were also media reports that Mel's violent threats were brought on by a night of heavy drinking, but Oksana says he was never drunk when he threatened her:
But Oksana also claimed the actor had been on medication, for what, she didn't specify."There was no liquor, not once. He never drunk. I mean, one time he drunk when he was away. That's the only time he drunk. I've never ever seen him drinking,"
Mel has really been made out as the bad guy in this situation, but he has come back saying that yes he did hit Oksana, but it was to protect their daughter:
“I slapped Oksana one time with an open hand in an attempt to bring her back to reality. I did not slap her hard, I was just trying to shock her so that she would stop screaming, continuing shaking Lucia back and forth.”
Is Oksana a fame-whore, a money grabber, a home wrecker? Or is Mel innocent in all this. Well it's clear he has a temper, and he should face serious consequences for what he did.
But will we ever really know the truth?
