Cheryl Cole Wins Nothing At The Brit Awards

Yes, she may have been a winner on the Red Carpet tonight but unfortuantely Cheryl Cole lost out big time at the Brit Awards.

The X-Factor judge was favourite to win Best Female Solo artist, but that one was stolen by newcomer Laura Marling (yup, don't know her either). Cheryl was nominated in that category for her hit single 'Parachutes', but it obviously didn't make that much of an impression.

She then lost out to Tinie Tempah for British Single of the year, for which once again she was nominated for 'Parachutes'. To top that all off the ex of her recent ex-hubby Ashley Cole, Kayla Collins, joined her on the Red Carpet. I'm guessing she didn't enjoy that meeting too much.

But there was one thing that put a smile on the geordie's face. She presented the award for Best Female artist to her US BFF Rihanna!

Poor Cheryl, I guess when Simon Cowell isn't running the show you're not going to be recognized at all!
