Florence And The Machine Performing At The Oscars 2011

I'm getting seriously excited about the next two award shows about to hit our screens! First up we've got The Grammys this weekend and then we'll be hitting The Oscars Red Carpet on the 27th of February!

So who's performing on the night? Well even though Florence And The Machine is not up for an Oscar she will be filling in for Dido!  Dido actually is up for an Oscar with her brother Rollo Armstrong and Indian composer A.R. Rahman for the song "If I Rise" from Danny Boyle's movie 127 Hours, isn't available on the big night.

It's going to be a seriously busy night for Florence. Later in the evening, she's set to perform at Elton John and David Furnish's annual Oscar party benefiting the Elton John AIDS Foundation.

As well as Florence, Mandy Moore and Zachary Levi, who voiced the Tangled characters Rapunzel and Flynn Rider in the recently released Walt Disney animated movie, will be performing a song from their movie.

Can't wait!

**UPDATE**

There's been more acts added to the list of performers at The Oscars:

Gywenth Paltrow will be gracing the stage singing 'Coming Home' from the film Country Strong and Randy Newman will perform his Toy Story 3 song, 'We Belong Together'.
