It's been over a decade since Nicole Kidman and Tom Cruise split and for the first time the Aussie actress admits that she was left "damaged" after their divorce.
Nicole and Tom were married between 1990-2000, and although the Rabbit Hole actress says she had a happy relationship she admits the break-up was really tough on her:
"That was a great relationship. It was great. I think it ran its course... It's hard when you're young. But I'm ready to give up anything for love, because ultimately, that is what you have. I was really damaged and not sure whether that was ever going to happen again to me,"It's been widely reported that the reason for the spit had a lot to do with Tom's obsession with Scientology. Nicole, who was always a devote catholic, apparently hated the cult-styled religion and surces say she gave her daughters with Keith Urban catholic names to show where her loyalty lies. A source said:
"Nicole is a Catholic, and Sunday was an important religious day for her until she was involved in Scientology. She's still bitter about her experience with Scientology and the fact her baby's name could be perceived as one last jab doesn't exactly upset her."She definitely seems to be in a really happy place now with hubby Keith and her new baby girl Faith Margaret.
