Corrie Star Samia Smith Files For Divorce While Dating Co-Star

Coronation Street star Samia Smith has filed for divorce from her husband Matt Smith after 5 years of marriage.

The actress, who plays Maria Connor in the soap, split from the property developer in January after rumours spread that she was dating new co-star Will Thorp, who plays her on-screen boyfriend Chris Gray.

In court documents Samia has cited "unreasonable beahaviour" as the reason for divorce. Sounds a bit dodge to me, that normally means uncontrollable temper or being extremely over protective.

On-screen lovers fell for eachother.

Although it has never been stated that Samia left hubby Matt for Will, Matt himself is quoted as saying that the divorce is their fault:

"They have to live with what they've done. She's my wife. I love her and we've got a child. I'm just trying to get on with my life."

The former couple have a 19-month-old daughter together named Freya. Meanwhile Matt has been spotted with Hayley Goodhead, the model who won Coleen Rooney's competition show 'Real Women'.

Kym Marsh Says Her Pregnancy Has Been "Difficult"

Kym Marsh has revealed that her pregnancy has been difficult as she's constantly in fear that she will loose her baby girl.

The Coronation Street actress and her fiancé Jamie Lomas lost their son Archie back in 2009 after he was born premature at 21 weeks. Kym is now at 26 weeks in her pregnancy, but she admitted she was scared at the beginning:

"It's been really difficult. I have been diagnosed with an incompetent cervix, which is when your cervix is too weak to stay closed during pregnancy due to the extra weight of the baby. It can cause premature birth or late miscarriage. This time around I was a high-risk patient and I've been monitored closely."

To prevent another loss, the 34-year-old, who had been stitched at 17 weeks to prevent her cervix from opening. Kym was then forced to take early maternity leave from Coronation Street. But Kymbelieves everything will be ok with the birth:

"She's been a right little wriggler since 17 weeks. And she's a Marsh-Lomas. I know she's a little fighter and I know she'll be causing us havoc before long!"

This will be her third child, but first with fiance Jamie, she had two children from her first marriage.

Sophie Webster To Have An Accident In Coronation Street!

**Spoiler Alert**

It's being reported that the character of Sophie Webster in Coronation Street is set to fall off the roof of a church! (Eeeek!)

Apparently the accident happens after Sophie has an argument with the singers in the church choir about her sexuality. Angry and upset, Sophie then runs to the roof of the church, slips and falls on to a car below.

According to reports the accident will be the a part of a storyline focused on Sophie which will see her struggling to deal with Sally and Kevin's split and problems in her relationship with girlfriend Sian Powers.
