Ashlee Simpson Shows Off New Boyfriend!

Wow, she's certainly moved on fast!

Even though Ashlee Simpson only split from hubby Pete Wentz under 4 months ago, the younger sister of Jessica Simpson has been spotted with a new boyfriend.

The singer was pictured strolling around new york with Boardwalk Empire star Vincent Piazza. The 25-year-old looked completely besotted as she walked extremely close to her new beau.

The actor, who plays gangster Charles 'Lucky' Luciano in the hit series, shared a kiss with Ashlee in a local park, right in front of paparazzi. You may also recognize Vincent from The Sopranos.

The next day, the pair were spotted hugging and kissing again with their arms around each other at the airport before Ashlee departed New York for Los Angeles, where she lives with her two-year-old son Bronx, and of course Pete lives in LA too.

Meanwhile, Ashlee and Pete, still have a really close relationship. Since filing for divorce the pair have been spotted out nearly every couple of days spending time with Bronx and having dinner together.


I wonder how he will feel about this though!

Ashlee Simpson and Ex Hubby Pete Wentz Spotted Holding Hands!

It looks like these two are really making an effort for their little boy Bronx... or are they back on?

Although Ashlee Simpson filed for divorce from her hubby Pete Wentz just two months ago. They seem to be extremely comfortable spending time together. The pair were seen yesterday spending time with Bronx, but they were holding hands the whole time! 'Just friends' eh?

This is the second time the pair have been spotted out and about since the split, and it seems they are trying to remain strong for their two-year-old son. The couple were married for nearly 3 years when they split, and it really looks like they are remaining friends.

In a recent interview Pete had said he will always love Ashlee:

"Ashlee's been my best friend for five years. She's the mother of my child. I have nothing but love and respect for her."

I wonder how they are going to feel when they start dating other people? No more play dates like these, I'm guessing??

Pete Wentz Says He Still Loves Ashlee Simpson!!

Could this marriage be saved?

Despite rumours that, his soon-to-be ex-wife, Ashlee Simpson is dating his friend, Pete Wentz has said he still loves his wife.

The 31-year-old musician told Ryan Seacrest that his friendship with Ashlee will never change:

"Ashlee's been my best friend for five years. She's the mother of my child. I have nothing but love and respect for her."

The rocker added that right now the most important thing is to take care of their 2-year-old son Bronx. And he couldn't stop gushing about him during the interview:

"Going through something like this isn't easy, but we're friends and the most important thing is to put our son first. Everything's a new discovery for him. His new thing is hiding cell phones and credit cards and stuff. I'm like, 'So where's dad's cell phone?' And he laughs. He thinks it's like a comedy bit."

In the meantime Ashlee and Pete were spotted together twice over the weekend going for fast food (staying in bed making up all day?). They were first spotted at In-N-Out Burger and were seen once again in their local Taco Bell.

So can this marriage be fixed? They seem to have nothing but love for eachother from what I can see!

Ashlee Simpson Has Got A New Boyfriend... and It's Pete Weintz's Friend!

Ashlee Simpson has been spotted getting cozy with rocker Craig Owens, a guy that her soon-to-be ex hubby Pete Wentz helped launch his career!

The 26-year-old singer-songwriter is the former frontman for the punk group Chiodos, and is now signed to Wentz' s record label, Decaydance. This summer, Owens will tour with a new group Wentz helped organize, D.R.U.G.S. (Destroy Rebuild Until God Shows). A source close to Pete said that he is shocked by this new revelation:

"Pete did a lot for this guy. Craig was in another band and got kicked out. Pete found Craig, built a band around him and signed him. He's shocked at how this guy is repaying him."

So what the hell is Ashlee thinking? Well sources say that the 25-year-old has been comforted by Craig during her marriage break-up. A source said:

"Ashlee and Craig are longtime friends. They have spent some time together, and he is comforting her throughout this difficult time."

A source close to Ashlee has says the pair are "just good friends" and that Craig has been by her side as a friend while she gets over Pete.

This split is starting to get messy!

According to sources Pete Wentz dumped Ashlee Simpson because he coudn't trust her anymore!! The pair who were married for nearly 3 years were apparently having serious trust issues, mainly on the part of Pete.

A source close to Pete said:

"Ashlee has been out late partying for the past few months. She would lose track of time,"

Apparently the mother of two-year-old Bronz began staying out late with a crew of pro skateboarder and wouldn't come home until after sunrise!! Apparently her 30-year-old hubby:

"would constantly check in on Ashlee, and he'd have his friends call the house and her cell to make sure she said she was where she said she was going to be. He felt like he couldn't trust her."

That sounds a bit mad. 'Sources' will claim anything after a split too, I just hope they will remain good parents.

Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz Just "Grew Apart"

It's the third shocking celeb split this week and of courses there are lots of 'sources' telling the press what's going on!

Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz announced that they were divorcing yesterday after two and a half years of marriage. No reason was given at the time, but sources close to the couple say nothing bad happened between them they just "grew apart". The insider says:

"It's very amicable. They're on very friendly terms and speaking - it's fine. They've just grown apart. They've been growing apart for quite some time. They're both really sad. It's a sad ending to something that was really promising. They're each trying to figure out what this transition is going to be like."

When the news was announced yesterday there was speculation growing that the pair had engaged in constant drunken fights over the last few months, most notabley a fight took place in public when Ashlee threatened Pete's ex, Gossip Girl star, Michelle Trantenberg.

However, this insider says there was no on-going fights and that all they want to do is take care of their 2-year-old son Bronx, adding:

"It's all about Bronx for them. They're fantastic parents - Pete says she's a great mum, and she says he's a great father. It's about Bronx's care and well-being and happiness for them."

The whole break-up seems to have come out of nowhere, with the couple looking very much in love at recent public appearances. Also, on Monday Pete had Tweeted this:

"dont forget 2 notice-when i look into the lil dudes eyes & smile, the way he loves. i realize @ashsimpsonwentz is a good moma + so much more"

Sounds to me that he's really sad. Ashlee is the one that filed for divorce, is there something we're missing here?

It's the third Celeb couple split this week! First Olivia Wilde split with her hubby of 7 years, then Jude Law and Sienna Miller split and now Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz have called it quits!

First of all, let me say I am not surprised in the least! The couple got engaged after only dating a year when Ashlee found out she was three months pregnant, and from then on everything has just seemed fake.

In a statement the couple said:

"We remain friends and deeply committed and loving parents to our son Bronx, whose happiness and well-being remains our number one priority."

So why are they getting divorced??

Well married life hasn't lasted long for the two musicians who wed back in 2008. Sources say that 26-year-old Ashlee and 31-year-old Pete were having huge arguments due to alcohol problems... i.e they were constantly hammered and fighting!

Things were noticeably bad back in June when  a visibly drunk Ashlee got into a nasty public spat with Michelle Trachtenberg, Pete's ex girlfriend. A source close to Ashlee says she was:

"reverting to drinking and going out, because she is sick and tired of her life. (It was) an outlet for her unhappiness, and Pete is getting fed up."

Another insider says that the pair married too quickly and didn't think before they tied the knot:

"Ashlee loves Bronx but jumped into marriage and having a baby too quickly. They feel they got trapped in a situation they were too young for."

Former singer Ashlee filed divorce papers today in an L.A. County Superior Court. The documents say she has asked the judge for join custody of 2-year-old Bronx, and cites irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split.
