Christina Aguilera Says It's Hard Being Single

Christina Aguilera has said that the single life ain't what it's made out to be!

The 'Not Myself Tonight' singer admitted that she's finding it hard being a single mum now, since her split from music producer hubby Jordan Bratman.

Christina said:

"It's hard, definitely,It's hard just even being a working mum and trying to balance and juggle everything on your plate."

But she insisted that she's trying to make the divorce as easy as possible on their two-year-old son Max:

"I like to be the first thing he wakes up to in the morning and the last thing he goes to bed at night seeing and singing him his lullabies before bed - it means the world to me to be able to do that."

So that sounds like Jordan might be in for a nasty custody battle!

She also said that she's hoping that being a strong, independent women, will give Max the inspiration to be as career driven as she is:

"One day he will be able to look back at my body of work and feel proud of it. Hopefully it will motivate him to be an individual himself and really go for what he wants out of life".

There have been rumours that the pair split due to Christina's infedility with other women.
