Halle Berry and Ex Gabriel Aubry Custody Battle Turns Ugly!

This just seems to be getting worse and worse.

I reported this week that former couple of 5 years Halle Berry and Gabriel Aubry were beginning a custody battle as Halle's rep stated that the actress was "extremely concerned" about her 2-year-old daughter Nahla's care when she was around Gabriel.

Now a former friend of the French model tells People that Gabriel used racial slurs against Halle:

"Once they broke up he became verbally threatening to Halle. He is a vindictive guy." 

However, a good friend of the 35-year-old model says Gabriel is an excellent father:

"I never saw someone more dedicated to their child...From the beginning, Halle kind of had the upper hand because she was essentially supporting all of them for the most part. Gabriel never liked how that felt. Their split was tough because they're both so involved in raising Nahla, and neither ever wanted to give that up."

Friends close to 44-year-old actress however back-up her claims that Nahla is unsafe with her daddy Gabriel:

"The only reason Gabriel is seeing Nahla right now is because the court hasn't made a decision yet. If it were up to Halle, he wouldn't be seeing her at all without some sort of supervision."

It gets worse! After friends of Halle all said that Gabriel was using racial slurs against her, ANOTHER close friend of Gabriel's is claiming that Halle has made the whole thing up and that she's just "a jealous bitch". The friend goes on to say that the actress went crazy when her ex was pictured alongside Kim Kardashian at a Lakers Game and that Gabriel has crazy messages on his phone to prove that she has been abusive:

“She left a crazy message on Gabe’s cell just after some pictures came out of him at a Lakers game with a girl last year. She is mega, mega p***ed in the message, calling him, and the girl, all kinds of names – it’s certainly something Halle wouldn’t want heard. Gabriel played it to me at the time, and said: ‘see what I have to deal with?!’

Who knows what to believe, this is getting seriously messy! I feel so sorry for Nahla, thankgod she's too young to understand what's going on.
