Yes, you heard right!
Gossip Girl actress Leighton Meester has said she's not looking for fame!I find that hard to believe since she's in a new movie called Roomate and also released an album back in 2009. But this is what Leighton has to say:
“I don't listen to compliments too much! I want an identity outside of my work. Fame is not what I want. I don't want fame. I don't want that for my life. I want to grow as a person and as an actor and that's what's important."
The 24-year-old starlet also talked about life in the Big Apple! She is currently living in New York while she continues to film Gossip Girl:
"I love it. I'm so happy to live here. At the moment, it's really grey outside, so every time I travel somewhere warm and sunny, it's kind of sad to return home when it's really nasty outside. But it's still New York and it's exciting. It's my home now and I love it and I wouldn't want to shoot the show anywhere else. Everything is here."
New York looks amazing if the hit TV series is anything to go by! Do you really believe she doesn't want fame though?
