Clash: Chelsea footballer Ashley Cole was caught on CCTV allegedly throwing a punch at a fan who dubbed him 'Cashley' on night out in August


Ashley Cole has been caught on CCTV allegedly throwing a punch at a club goer in London after the pair became embroiled in an argument.

The footballer had been enjoying a night out with his England and Chelsea team mate Daniel Sturridge and other friends at trendy Marble Arch nightclub 141 in August.

But the 30-year-old became embroiled in a heated exchange when he left the venue with three of his pals, which allegedly resulted in Ashley trying to hit the victim.


The 25-year-old man, who is refusing to be identified for fear of reprisals, has now come forward as CCTV images of the clash emerge.

The Arsenal fan claims he shouted 'Cashley' to the star as his chauffeur drove the sports man passed where he was standing.

The comment riled Ashley, who then allegedly asked his driver to stop so he could jump out of the vehicle.

The man explains the incident to the Daily Star Sunday: 'I spotted Cole in the passenger seat of the Mercedes and shouted Cashley at him.

'He said from the car window, 'Come and say that to my face'. Then he got out of the car and came straight towards me. He was not drunk. He was in full control. He was coming for me basically.

'I said one word and then it started. He came straight towards me. I said, 'Listen man, listen man I was only joking'. I told him I was an Arsenal fan. I said that two or three times. I was trying to calm the situation down.

'He kept repeating, 'Do you know who the f**k I am? Do you know who the f**k I am?''

The altercation then allegedly turned violent as the man felt 'threatened' as the incident unfolded.

He claims one of Cole's friend's pushed him, only for him to realise later on when he watched the CCTV footage back that the footballer had actually tried to strike him.

He adds: 'At this point his friend was trying to hold him (Cole) back. He started saying, 'You know nothing about me you f**king c**t.' I'm standing against a wall with Cole to my right side but because the big black guy (Cole's friend) is in my face, my attention was diverted.

'He was in my face and I felt threatened. All of a sudden, to my astonishment, I was being pushed and before I know it the big black guy grabbed me in his arms and had taken me to the side.

'But it was only when I saw the footage later that I saw his real intention. He wanted to do some serious damage. That was when I saw him throw that punch.

'The fact of the matter is I called him something - something I think is a cheeky comment, it was not malicious. I apologised to him. For him to still, after that, try and cause physical damage is ridiculous.'

And the 25-year-old claims it was Sturridge who tried to keep the peace and explain his pal's actions to him.

'Then (Daniel) Sturridge stayed behind to calm the situation down after Cole left,' the man said.

'I told him, 'Cole needs to behave in a more responsible way'. Sturridge is like, 'Oh, sometimes you lose it when someone says something to you'.'

Cole, who split from wife Cheryl Cole last year, was dubbed 'Cashley' when he transferred from Arsenal to rival team Chelsea.

He fell out with Arsenal fans after stating he had only been offered £50,000-a-week to stay at the club.

The 5ft 6in fan who was targeted in the alleged clash insists he won't be pressing charges if Cole apologises for the incident.

He says: 'I feel what happened still affects me up to this day. When you look at the footage he pushes me so he can set me up with the right punch.

'For someone to do that shows he knows what's going on. It was thuggish behaviour.

He sized me up. If I was 6ft 2in he would not have gone as far as he did.'

Police representatives state they were 'highly unlikely' to pursue any investigations into the clash.

A spokesperson for Cole has so far failed to comment on the incident.

X Factor judge Louis Walsh has said that he is sure Chelsea footballer Ashley Cole will change in order to win back ex-wife Cheryl Cole.

The Mayo native says he believes the couple are perfect for each other, despite love rat Ashley constantly cheating:

"I saw a side of them most people didn't - when they were together and the cameras were turned off. You could tell how much they loved each other."

The music manager added that he thinks Cheryl (28) and Ashley (30) will end up together no matter what and that Cheryl will definitely be able to tame him this time round:

"I honestly think that Ashley will change this time for her and she will tame him. They will end up together."

Well I'm going to have to disagree with Louis there. As well as admitting to a string of affairs during their marriage, also paying a hairdresser to get an abortion because he knocked her up, he has also been caught out sleeping around the last few weeks while he was trying to win Cheryl back.

Why is everyone supporting Cheryl in her decision to take him back, is it just me or has the world gone insane?

Cheryl Cole Buys $5 Million LA Mansion

Well this is surely a good start to moving on with your life.

Just as an air-hostess has claimed that she bedded Ashley Cole just before he jetted home for Cheryl Cole's 28th Birthday Bash, the 'Promise This' singer has bought herself a lavish pad in LA.

According to reports Cheryl had been trying to persuade Ashley (30) to move to California with her for good as she launches her music career in the states. Ashley was set to leave Chelsea behind but now it seems Cheryl's dreams have been crushed once again.

The new apartment is located in a luxurious sky scraper building which used to be a 5-star hotel. A local estate agent said the Geordie picked a great apartment:

"Cheryl has great taste. She is moving into the most prestigious address in the whole of LA."

With a new home maybe Cheryl can finally move on with her life and find someone who is actually willing to treat her right!

The singer is said to be devastated by the new claims that Ashley slept with another woman while trying to re-kindle their romance and it would have been their fifth wedding anniversary last Friday.
Apparently Ashley had organized a family barbecue for the blonde this week but Cheryl has now cancelled the party and demanded her delete her phone number for good. A source revealed that the pair were back on track until now:

"Once again Ashley appears to have outdone himself. Just as Cheryl’s getting back on track and working really hard on her music he does this. She is humiliated. Ashley had organised a family ­gathering, a barbecue, for when he got back from pre-season training in the Far East. This has been scrapped."

Cheryl Cole Tells Ashley To Leave Chelsea Forever

In the midst of trying to win Cheryl back, Ashley Cole has been told he needs to make some sacrifices before she officially reunites with him.

Sources close to Cheryl Cole have revealed that she has asked the footballer to leave his Chelsea team and move to LA with him, or else it's over for good.

Ashley has a £6 million a year contract with the famous football team, so leaving that behind is a massive sacrifice for her cheating ex-hubby.

An insider revealed that Ashley (30) will have to move to California if he wants his marriage back again:

"Cheryl has told Ashley that her plan is to work on her solo music in the United States. She says that if he wants to be with her, he would have to be prepared to break his £120,000-a-week deal with Chelsea and play for an American team instead."

The source added that although Ashley has already said he will do anything for Cheryl, this might be going a step too far:

"Ashley has told her he would do virtually anything for her but this could be asking a little too much. He is still at the peak of his game – it would be career suicide for him to move to the US at this stage."

At least if he does make the move he could hook up with footballer David Beckham and maybe play for the LA Galaxy team?

The source added that blonde babe Kayla had "tried to fix a meeting with Cheryl but couldn't find her." Let's be honest here, Cheryl wouldn't go anywhere near here!

The Black Eyed Peas singer revealed that Cheryl felt forced to call it quits with the Chelsea footballer because his infedilities had become public knowledge.

Adding fuel to speculation that Ashley (30) and Cheryl(28) have reunited, Fergie said the singer is still in love with her ex husband:

"He really hurt her and I couldn't at the time ever see her taking him back. She really loved him and didn't want to get divorced, she just felt she had no choice."

The wife of Josh Duhamel supports Cheryl's decision to get back together with the footballer and says that the 'Promise This' singer is a stronger person now:

"Cheryl's a lot stronger than she was two years ago. The relationship will be on her terms. But she needs to follow her own heart. The love is still there."

It's clear that Fergie has been through a marital affair herself, as it is rumoured that Transformers star Josh cheated on her last year but she stood by her man.

In my opinion once a cheater always a cheater, and although in some cases people deserve a second chance, but Ashley already had that chance and he messed it up.

I feel so sorry for Cheryl that she is this naive to get back with him.

Ashley Cole To Launch New London Restaurant With Jay-Z

It all makes sense now!

Sources had revealed that Ashley Cole was in a serious business meeting with Jay-Z in New York, before rushing home to wish his ex wife Cheryl Cole a happy birthday, and now we know why!

Today the Chelsea footballer announced that he and Beyone's hubby will open a restaurant in London in the next year.

Cole will also aim to help long-time unemployed people (yes he is trying very hard to be nice). Similiar to Jamie Oliver's Fifteen Foundation, Ashley says he wants to help train young adults with disadvantaged backgrounds in the restaurant business.

Ashley said he is looking forward to his new venture with the top US rapper:

"It is really exciting to be working with a star like Jay-Z. And the fact we can help unemployed people by training them up and putting them to work at a top place while also helping charities makes it a great project."

Earlier on today Ashley told press that he thinks people are too quick to judge him, but admitted seeing his mother react to stories about him in the paper is difficult:

"What parent wouldn't feel upset with things like that? I can understand it, I've made mistakes. I've just got to live with it."

So the rumours must be true!

After weeks and weeks of sources claiming that Cheryl Cole has decided to give her ex-cheating-hubby Ashley Cole another chance,  Miss Red can reveal that the Chelsea footballer was spotted at her 28th Birthday Bash.

Ashley, who had been in LA for the last few weeks, came straight from Heathrow airport to Cheryl's exclusive birthday party. His chauffeur-driven car sneaked into the Sanderson Hotel unnoticed via the underground car park. And when he left the party in the early hours of Saturday morning he hid his face in the back seat.

Guests who attended the party have said that the former lovers were having fun together drinking Vodka, and that they danced together by the DJ booth. Ashley’s mother Sue and brother Matthew told the News Of The World: "They are very happy together."

And get this, apparently Cheryl's mum Joan, who has always spoken out against Ashley, approached Ashley at the party and led him by hand to her daughter. "That was Joan’s way of giving her seal of approval" an insider said.
The Girls Aloud singer spent an estimated £25,000 to effectively rent out half of the elite Sanderson Hotel for two days to pamper herself and close friends and family.

She was in the £1,000-a-night penthouse for three nights, and booked a luxurious bungalow suite below her for her mother, along with 20 more rooms for other party guests.

So will Cheryl and Ashley be reuniting for good? A source said no one knows what will happen:

Cheryl Cole Moved Back In With Ashley?

Oh no, say it isn't so!

According to reports today, Cheryl Cole has decided to give her ex-cheating-hubby a chance, and has moved back in with footballer Ashely Cole.

Apparently the 'Fight For This Love' singer spend the night in their former mansion in Surrey. The couple had previously split in September after four years of marriage, when Ashley's infidelities came to light.


But now a source close to the pair say things are back on track, and Ashley has been a great shoulder to cry during the embarassment of the US X Factor:

"They were saying what a special night it was. They were mucking about like old times just playing pool, smoking and having a few drinks. There wasn't any awkwardness between the two of them and they seemed very comfortable together."

An insider also said that since Cheryl split with professional dancer Derek Hough, Ashley has been there for her. Even flying out to California last week to see her:

According to reports Cheryl Cole has decided to give things another go with her cheating ex-hubby Ashley Cole.

Apparently the pair have been meeting secretly for months and were even spotted together at Ashley's mother Sue's Essex home on April 24. A source tells Heat magazine that everyone close to her knows that they are patching things up:

"There is a sort of unspoken understanding between Cheryl and Ashley's mutual friends that a reconciliation is well under way. They've been in constant contact and have met up regularly. Cheryl's visit to Sue's house was a big sign that she and Ashley are moving ever closer to a public reunion."

Apparently the ex-hubby of Cheryl Cole has been trying to keep the affair a secret,  arranging separate cars for the pair while on nights out in London. Sources say that Annie caught Ashley's eye:

"Ashley was enjoying being single but was taken by Annie after a friend introduced them. He didn't want it all coming out as it's early days. He wanted to be confident Annie could handle the attention."

Annie, who plays wannabe WAG Alex in the soap was spotted with a friend and Ashley's Chelsea team-mates in a top London club. The source added that things got out of hand quite quickly:

"They were on a table with Ashley's pals when he suggested playing the ice cube game. This involved passing the ice-cube, boy to girl, using their mouths. The lads then got carried away by putting the ice down the girls' tops."

Cheryl Cole Doesn't Want To Live With Derek Hough!

According to reports this morning Cheryl Cole has decided not to move in with boyfriend Derek Hough when she moves to L.A!

The 'Promise This' singer is heading over to California soon to start filming the U.S version of The X-Factor and it looks like she won't be roomies with her dancer boyfriend.

Although Derek has been doing up his apartment to fit Cheryl's 'needs', Cheryl has turned around and changed her mind. Sources say the singer wants to remain independent:

"Cheryl told him she would spend a lot of time at his, but she needs her own space. She wants to remain independent and not just become 'Derek's girlfriend'. It's clearly a wise move that has in part been steered by Simon Cowell because she needs to become a star in her own right."

And of course Derek is not too happy at all:

"Derek is gutted. He bought his new place with Cheryl in mind. She had lots of input and his interior decorator even spoke to Cheryl on several occasions."

The X-Factor judge will now rent a luxury apartment for her first six months in L.A instead and will have mum Joan Callaghan there with her to help her settle in.

According to reports this morning, Ashley Cole and 'I'm A Celebrity' star Kayla Collins have broken up for good! Apparently the playmate and the Chelsea footballer have split following a five week relationship because Ashley was treating her like crap... surprise surprise!

A source has said that their relationship was never going to go anywhere:

"Ashley and Kayla enjoyed their time together but knew a long-term future was unlikely. Kayla went back to the States over Christmas and Ashley was looking forward to meeting up with her afterwards but that was it - nothing more."

"I think Ashley's great. He's a fantastic (football) player and I'd love to watch him."

But I wonder if she's heard about what the love rat she calls a boyfriend did to ex Chery Cole? Well when asked if she had met Cheryl, she replied:

Cheryl Cole Does Her First Tell All Interview!

On the brink of Cheryl Cole's tell all interview on Piers Morgan's Life Stories the singer has opened up in her first really personal newspaper interview.

The 'Promise This' singer has decided to face the public one and for all, answering seriously personal questions for the first and last time.

In the interview with the Guardian Cheryl admits that she knew her ex hubby Ashley was cheating but had to give him a second chance.
In a snippet of the interview, Cheryl admits that discovering that he had cheated made her feel numb:

"I don't know. I'm a bit numb. I've dealt with a lot of it. A lot of it on my own," She's speaking faster and louder now, and you can hear the upset in her voice. "A lot of emotion and feeling. More than anger."

She also admits that working out her marriage in the public eye made things worse:

"I'm a human. I'm still a person, you know. I know to a lot of people the headlines and the stories they read are like some sick entertainment or soap opera, but it's my life and I'm really dealing with it, and it's really happening. It's my real life. Of course I was embarrassed."

Throughout the emotional questioning, the Girls Aloud member says that music is the only thing that has kept her going, admitting that this has been her worst year yet. Of course as well as facing her marriage breakdown, Cheryl also contracted Malaria and says she was told that she was dying:

"I had no liver function, no kidney function, I was swollen with the fluid, I had no oxygen in my blood, I literally had 24 hours to get fluid out of my body, otherwise my insides were going to pack in. You know how sometimes you feel ill and say, 'I feel like I'm dying'? Well, I actually felt like I was dying. I asked the nurse outright – was I going to die? She said, 'There's a possibility.' "

One thing that everyone has wanted to ask the singer is why she hasn't changed her name back to Tweedy! Surely after the heartbreak she's been through she would want to be disconnected from Ashley? But she explains why it's important to keep the name Cole:

"I don't feel sentimental about the name. If I went back to being Cheryl Tweedy, I'd be… I'm not ashamed of my marriage, it's a period in my life. And I am Cheryl Cole. That's how I feel."

Cheryl insists in the interview that she's not a victim, quite like actress Jennifer Aniston after her split from Brad Pitt, Cheryl doesn't want to be pitied. And during the interview she gets quite upset about this:

"And now she really is upset – whether it's with me, or my wording, or everything we're talking about, I don't know. "I don't feel it happened to me. I hate that. 'It happened to you.' I just hate it. It didn't happen to me. It's someone else's actions. The malaria happened to me. I just hate it. Hate it. Hate the whole fucking thing." It's the only time in our conversation that she swears. She gulps, and chokes back a tear. "Hate this year."

But although she disputes her victim status, which she clearly has, it could be said that without being a victim she may not have got the success she has today, the public sympathize with Cheryl, she admits her situation has helped others:

 "I have met a lot of young girls, and they said they'd watched my actions and it had inspired them. It had helped them through a situation, and that's the best feeling ever."

At the end of the interview she admits she doesn't know if she can ever trust a man again but is adamant that her and Ashley will never re-kindle their love, despite keeping his name:

"We've been divorced. That's a pretty big ending. Maybe we can be friends… one day."

It's strange to see that she still admires Ashley and cares for a friendship with him! It's clear that Cheryl has used everything she has been through as one big life lesson.

Cheryl Cole Admits She Will Always Love Ashley

There's a lot of buzz today about Cheryl Cole's tell all interview with Piers Morgan.

The pre- recorded episode is to air on the 23rd of October on ITV 1, and some of the details have been leaked! The Daily Mail reports that the Girls Aloud member admits to Piers she will never stop loving her cheating ex-husband, Ashley Cole.

The 'Promise This' singer told Piers she still thinks about the footballer and believes he is "genuinely nice guy". And says she wants them to be friends:

"Once we get over this obstacle, I hope we can be friends again. A part of me will always love Ashley.Looking back on it, I feel numb. We had a great marriage and a fantastic wedding day but I don't know where it went wrong. To this day I still question that.".

During the interview with Morgan, Cheryl also opens up about her battle with malaria, admitting she thought she was going to die:

"I thought I was going to die, I actually thought I was going to die. I thought if I'm going to die I want to die soon because I was in so  much pain."
