First it was "Rush Hour" director, Bret Ratner on the hot seat for calling a man "fa**ot" when provoked in a confrontation that occurred on a Los Angeles street, which got him fired from producing the Academy Awards ceremonies. However in 2009, "Kill Bill" director, Quentin Tarantino, used the homophobic word in trying to fire up an audience at a premiere in saying, "It's good to see you bad-ass Thursday mother****ers here! Not those Friday fa***ts, you're here at 12!"

Hollywood hates homophobia and often slams others for using words gays find offensive, so why do so many of its heterosexual denizens get into trouble for it. Due to "Rush Hour" director Bret Ratner, using the homophobic slur "fa**ot" in an argument that was filmed on a public street, ending in him being fired from producing the upcoming Academy Awards telecast and his friend, actor Eddie Murphy, quitting as host, will the show stink.

Some were hoping Murphy would put a new stamp on hosting the long running awards show. The Judiciary Report certainly thought he might add some flavor to it, due to his comedic timing and sense of humor. However, he has now been replaced by legendary comedian Billy Crystal, who is funny, but will not want to offend the establishment with his jokes.
