She's made no secret of her desire to crack the American market.

And with the third single from her debut album Sticks + Stones entitled Want U Back, Cher Lloyd is hoping to achieve just that.

The video, released today, features a rap from former X Factor US contestant Astro, and follows Cher as she wreaks her revenge on an ex-boyfriend and his new girlfriend.

The singer tweeted excitedly today: 'I can't wait to see it on the Telly now, I'm not gunna lie I get all excited!!!'

Viewers see a jealous Cher following the couple through various date scenes and disrupting their happy new relationship.

The story kicks off with Cher reminiscing on her bed, demonstrating her characteristic cheek as she sings 'Hey, boy you never had much game, so I needed to upgrade'

She flicks through old photos as she muses over her old love, singing: 'Remember all the things that you and I did first And now you're doing them with her.'

On top of the world: This is Cher's third single from her debut album, Sticks + Stones

And she can't hide her devilish grin when she throws the salty snack all over them as they sit in the cinema watching a film while geeking out with 3D glasses.

An envious Lloyd sings: 'Remember all the things that you and I did first? And now you’re doing them with her.

'Boy you can say anything you want, I don’t give a shh, no one else can have ya.'

Look familiar? Cher continues to sport a hairstyle very similar to that of her old mentor, Cheryl Cole

The 18-year-old has been signed to X Factor judge L.A. Reid's label- so it is no wonder that the star producer's former hopeful Astro has teamed up with her.

The X Factor USA judge has helped talent such as Mariah Carey, Rihanna, Usher, and Kanye West become global stars in the past.

Cher told BBC Breakfast: 'I went over to America to do some more recording and stuff like that and now I'm signed to Epic with L.A. Reid.'

She said that the music mogul finds her 'funny' and 'outgoing.'

Lloyd scored a UK number one single with Swagger Jagger and reached number four with the help of Mike Posner on With Ur Love.

Cher is currently dating hairdresser Craig Monk, who will be hoping not to get on the wrong side of her if her actions in this video are to be believed.

They haven't spoken in almost a year but it seems Cher Lloyd hasn't let that stop her getting closer to former X Factor mentor Cheryl Cole's look.

As the pint sized pop princess was spotted filming her latest video in L.A the 19-year-old looked more like her Geordie mentor than ever before.

Gone were the ripped jeans and trainers and in was a more stylish look suitable for a mini Cheryl Cole wannabee.


And the similarities don't stop there, the Swagger Jagger singer was even spotted puffing away on a cigarette during filming breaks.

Cheryl Cole is known to be a light smoker.

Cher came over to LA last Sunday and earlier this week visited the contestants of X Factor USA at their studio.

Coincidentally Cher's mentor Cheryl is also in LA at the moment working on her new album.

And Cher, 19, showed her teenage side on the shoot by snacking on a packet of crisps during filming breaks.

Cher recently told MailOnline how boyfriend Craig Monk, 21, keeps her grounded, and the pair showed they're certainly still completely smitten by linking arms and snuggling up to each other.

Cher admitted last month she hadn't heard from her mentor since the show ended
She said: 'No I haven't really heard from her, which is a shame, you know because we were quite close on the show.

'Sometimes you get really run down and you don't feel at your best. if you're happy within, it shows on the outside.'

Cher Lloyd Says She's In Love With Hairdress Craig Monk

Craig tweeted this pic of the happy couple.

Oh this girl just loves the drama!

First she was dating former X Factor star Paige Richardson's friend, which ended in tears when he did the dirt on her, and now she's seeing her hairdresser!

The singer revealed in June that she was in a relationship and now she has confirmed she is dating  Craig Monk, a trainee hairdresser.

Cher (18) now says she has found the one, saying they have been together for the long time:

"It is serious. I'm in love. I've never spoken about Craig before but I think he's the bee's knees. I'm not embarrassed, we've been together ages.  He doesn't work in the music industry, he is your day-to-day person. He used to work on a building site."

The pair met in the London salon where Craig (21) works, but the singer claims he doesn't do her hair now. "Craig's a lovely guy - but he doesn't do my hair."

Cher Lloyd's New Single 'Swagger Jagger' Has Leaked!

Former X Factor star Cher Lloyd has said she is extremely "upset" after her debut single 'Swagger Jagger' was leaked online this morning.

The track, which has since been taken down, featured the full length new single, not set to release for another few weeks. Cher took to her Twitter today to explain how upset she is:

"I've never been this upset ever! I worked so hard, and people wanna ruin it for me, if you wanted to hurt me you've done a great job."

The 18-year-old singer went on moaning asking everyone to stop sharing the link: "please dont do this to me. I wish I was at home with my family, i've been through enough this year."

Finally she ended her rant speaking out to her real fans: "me and my brats are stronger than this!! come onnnn! lets get em !!!!"

To be honest, she needs to get over herself, so what ONE track leaked off her album. Welcome to the 21st century love...

Even though I hate Cher Lloyd I was actually liking her with the Rihanna-red hairstyle!

The former X Factor contestant, who is currently recording her first album in L.A, Tweeted this pic last night. It looks like she has ditched the firey red and opted for a dark brown/black. Seems to be very like ex-mentor Cheryl Cole, changing her style every five minutes!

Cher Lloyd Gets Two New Tattoos!

Cher Lloyd has shown off two new tattoos!!

The former X-Factor contestant has claimed she got the new ink in memory of her late uncle. These two make the amount of tattoos she has 7!! The 17-year-old explained the tattoos were in honour of her uncle, who died last September after being tricked into taking a heroin substitute.

Yesterday Cher posted the pics of the two tattoos on her arms. With the message:

"Happy birthday uncle boo, missing you. New tattoo. Xxxx".

On one arm she has an open birdcage, and on the other a bird carrying a ribbon with the word "Boo" written on it. Cher added that getting the new ink helped her mourn:

"It was my way of saying goodbye to someone who passed away. I couldn't go to his funeral because of paparazzi and I feel very angry about things like that."

Simon Cowell has always told all of his acts that they are not allowed to get tattoos, but I'm guessing Cher does whatever she wants.

Rihanna To Duet With Cher Lloyd?

According to reports Rihanna is in talks with Will.i.am to feature on a song with him and Cher Lloyd on her upcoming album.

A source said:

"Rihanna is a big fan of Cher. She told Will.i.am how much she loved her after her X Factor appearance.Will has since talked to Rihanna about the three of them working on a track for Cher's album."

Nooo! Ri Ri is so much better than that trashy wannabe! But according to the source, the 'What's My Name' singer really like Cher's style:

"Rihanna loves Cher's style and edginess and thinks she has great potential. She's given the go-ahead as long as the track is right."

Cher Lloyd Shows Off New Hair Colour!

Yes, following in the footsteps of her former X-Factor mentor Cheryl Cole, Cher Lloyd has died her hair red!

But unlike the mouldy looking chesnut red Cheryl flaunted, Cher went full out bright red like Rihanna! I have to say I am loving the colour. Don't love her so much though...

The rapper Tweeted this pic earlier saying "new hair :)".She looks great with this hair legth, the extensions were so so fake, but she's got some serious amount of make-up on here!

Cher has been spending lots of time in LA recently recording new tracks for her album which is being produced by Black Eyed Peas frontman Will.I.Am. He transformed Cheryl to Top Pop status and I think he'll be doing the same for Cher!

It's being reported today that X-Factor contestant Cher Lloyd's boyfriend Karim Roundi has cheated on her!

The Essex 'socialite' deleted his Twitter yesterday over claims that he'd done the dirt on the 17-year-old rapper. Karim's best mates with former contestant Paije Richardson he was with him when he did the cheating! Kate Cross told papers that she and Karim slept together after meeting in a nightclub Paije was performing in:
"I went with them to their hotel for drinks. Me and Karim kissed. He asked me upstairs for a hot chocolate and one thing led to another. Before we went Paije said, 'What about Cher?' I thought it was a joke."

The 21-year-old added:

"He seemed quite nice but now I know he's a dog who cheated on his girlfriend."

Yesterday Karim Tweeted Cher using Paije's account saying:

"I got more than a thing for you, tattoo and ink for you right over my heart girl I do the unthinkable"

Well dating someone who is called a 'socialite' was never a good idea now was it!

The night in question, Karim had been tweeting that he wasn't allowed drink as Cher asked him not to, but he later joked that he went out and got hammered instead... bad move Karim!

Cher Lloyd Shows Off Her New Tattoos!

Cher Lloyd has been out showing off her new tattoos! Thank god she's not being managed by Simon Cowell cause he would HATE this!

The former X-Factor contestant has go a large diamond tattooed on her hand and a new inscription running down her arm (classy).

The rapper had already tweeted fans this week saying: 

"Just got new ink (:"

The 17-year-old had already talked about plans to get the tattoo before, saying she wanted the inscription done after the live shows:

"The first thing I’m going to do is get a new tattoo. I’m going to get a lyric from my mum’s favourite song tattooed on my wrist. It’s going to say, 'All that you have is your soul'."

She now has five tattoos!

You did't think anyone would be tough enough to handle her, but X-Factor contestant Cher Lloyd has landed herself a boyfriend!

The rapper has been linked to Essex 'socialite' Karim Roundi, and guess what, former contestant Paije Richardson played match maker!

Apparently the two were introduced backstage at one of the live shows and were flirting straight away!

A source said:

"They met after one of the shows when Paije and Cher both performed. They kept in touch and hooked up properly after the final when she whisked him back to the May Fair hotel in London.They're besotted with each other. He's been saying he wants to move in with her as she's moving to London for her music.

A spokesperson for Cher confirmed that the pair are "an item".

Karim seems to be completely besotted with the star as he was been sending messages about her on Twitter alll the time:

"You should see my new girl yeah she's fucking hardcore!!! & tell those haters that you'll always be my mrs!"

Cher also did some Tweeting of her own today and has Tweeted that she's just got a new tattoo, I wonder if it's to ink in her new love???
