Kate Hudson and Matthew Bellamy Name Their Son!

Celebrity baby names are just getting ridiculous at this stage.

Between Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin's children Apple and Moses and David and Victoria Beckham's baby girl Harper, there is going to be a lot of slagging in the Hollywood playground in a few years.

The latest celebs to follow the trend of crazy baby names are Kate Hudson and fiance Matt Bellamy. The couple welcome their first child together this week, and today the Muse frontman announced the baby's name.

Matt wrote on his Twitter:

"So happy. Just had a baby boy, Bingham 'Bing' Hawn Bellamy. Born 7lb 12oz, on 9th July."

There's no word on what inspired them to go with 'Bingham' but the 'Hawn' is obviously to honour Kate's mum Goldie.

The rock star added that Kate was doing fine after the labour:

"Mum and baby are strong and healthy. Mum was a warrior, Bing popped out after 4.5 hours of intense pushing!"

To be honest Bingham sounds like a completely made up name, and nicknaming him 'Bing'? Google and Yahoo will be the next names in line at this stage...

Kate Hudson Calls Matt Bellamy 'Babby Daddy'

Kate Hudson has admitted that she finds it "weird" to call fiance Matt Bellamy her 'fiance' and uses a different term instead:

"It’s weird to say fiancé to me, I like baby daddy,' she said. 'So he’ll be baby daddy until he’s hubby."

The star of the new flick 'Something Borrowed' gushed about her un-born child, admitting she and Matt are convinced it's going to be a girl:

"The baby moves around all the time. It's getting harder to sleep. I'm due in like two months. We'll see. But it will come early. I can feel it."

The actress added that although it's "so easy to find out" the sex of the baby, she and hubby-to-be Matt want to wait.

Kate Hudson and Matthew Bellamy Engaged!

This was bound to happen!

Heavily preggers Kate Hudson has confirmed that she and Muse frontman Matt Bellamy are engaged! The actress announced she was expecting her first child with Matt back in Januart but constantly said they would not be walking down the aisle anytime soon.


However, while appearing on NBC's Today Show the presenter noticed she was wearing a gorgeous sparkly diamond ring on her wedding finger, when quizzed about the new piece of jewellery Kate announced the happy news:

"This is new… I'm engaged. It just happened a week ago!"

Kate wouldn't reveal how the rockstar popped the question but said he is a really romantic man:

"Matt Bellamy [is] a beautiful man and we're just going to sort of sit in to the baby thing for a little bit and kind of figure [them] out one at a time. [Bellamy's] proposal was very sweet. It was very romantic!"

I can't help but think that this whole relationship has been rushed and let's be honest Kate doesn't have a great track record.

Matt Bellamy Says He Will Write Kate Hudson "A Lullaby"

Wow... I am seriously jealous!

Muse frontman Matt Bellamy has said that he will write a song for his preggers girlfriend Kate Hudson on his next album.

Matt added that Kate's pregnancy is going well:

"There will be one lullaby on the next album for sure. The first trimester was a bit tough, but now she's doing really well," he added, when asked how they were dealing with the pregnancy."

The singer/songwriter/musician/all-round amazing guy, said that he will also write a tune for his un-born baby!

Kate is such a lucky lady!

Kate Hudson Moving To London?

According to sources Kate Hudson and her boyfriend Matthew Bellamy have bought a house in London!

Apparently the actress and the Muse front man have purchased a mansion worth £4 million. Kate and Matt are expecting their first child this year and insiders say she wants to raise the child, along with her 7-year-old son Ryder, in England. A source said:

"Kate is ready to put down roots in the UK. She is in the process of filling out visa forms that will enable her to live in England with Matt for at least six months of the year. Kate looks at the UK as a great place to raise a family. She sees herself living and working from London for the long haul."

Apparently the couple are to move in very soon! I wonder what Ryder's dad Chris Robinson will think about that?

Kate Hudson Thinks Her Baby Will Be A Girl!

Kate Hudson has revealed that she thinks her baby will is a girl.

The actress, who's expecting her second child, but first with boyfriend Matthew Bellamy, said they've already got some names:

"We have a couple of names but we're not telling anyone. People tell you so much about being pregnant it drives me nuts. It feels like a girl, but I don't know. Ryder thinks it's a girl."

The 31-year-old also said that she doesn't feel pressure to marry her Muse frontman boyfriend:

"I don't like putting that sort of pressure on it and I don't feel it necessary to get married. I am 31. I already have one child and have had one divorce so it is not necessarily the golden ticket. I just want to be happy."

Kate Hudson Says Boyfriend Matthew Bellamy Is "Sweet"

Kate Hudson said that her boyfriend and soon-to-be daddy Matthew Bellamy is "polite, kind and sweet." (awh)

On tomorrow night's Graham Norton Show, which has already been filmed, the actress said she's noticed a huge difference in dating a British man, compared to an American. She said:

"I never thought I would notice the difference but there are a lot of differences, it's just a different way, he is polite and kind and so sweet. It was the phone calls that signed the deal for me; hearing his voice on the phone. It was so lovely... He has corrected some of my use of English!"

Despite reports that couple have become engaged over the last week, the 31-year-old said she's not looking to tie the knot anytime soon. Kate and Muse frontman Matt have been dating about 9 months and are expecting their first child together.

They say that there's a surge in birth rates during a recession but that doesn't really affect a celeb does it? Well apparently the answer is yes it does!

So, who's knocked up? 

Natalie Portman

Natalie announced just a few weeks ago that she was not only engaged to her Black Swan choreographer Benjamin Millipied but that she was also preggers for the first time!

The actress has had a great start to the year as she's nominated for Best Actress in tomorrow night's Golden Globes and there is some serious Oscar buzz surrounding her new flick Black Swan. The star has said she feels extremely "lucky" to be preggers as she knows how hard it is to conceive as her dad is a fertility doctor!

Shania Twain

Next up, country singer Shania Twain had a lot to celebrate at the start of this year too!

After a painful divorce from her cheating hubby Robert Lange she sought comfort from the ex-husband of the wife who had an affair, Frédéric Thiébaud.And that friendship blossomed in to love when the two tied the knot in the Carribeann on the 1st of January! (what a great way to star a new year).

The 45-year-old singer then announced that she and Frédéric were expecting their first child!


Victoria Beckham  

A big shocker for 2011 was finding out that Victoria Beckham is expecting her fourth child!

The fashion designer, who already has three boys with footballer David Beckham, announced only a few days ago that she was preggers and everyone was shocked!

The former Posh Spice has always said that she's wanted a girl, is it 4th time lucky maybe? Let's be honest any daughter of Vicky's would have AMAZING clothes!



Holly Willoughby

Another Celeb expecting her baby in 2011 is Dancing On Ice presenter Holly Willoughby!

The former Xtra Factor presenter had a baby just last year, but this November she announced there was another one on the way.

The 29-year-old  already has a son named Harry and said that she was absolutely "thrilled" to be preggers again.

She's still working away on Dancing On Ice, and she's looks amazing!


Owen Wilson

Yes this has to be the most random baby announcement this year!

No one even knew that Owen Wilson was seeing anyone, and just last week he confirmed that he and girlfriend Jade Duell are expecting any week now!

Jade is apparently an actress and the pair have been living together in Hawaii for the past few months (hiding more like it).

The 42-year-old got his rep to announce the news and nothing more was said! No pictures of Jade of surfaced just yet but I'm sure we'll see some snaps of the new baby soon!

Alicia Silverstone

The list just keeps on going! Next up, former Clueless actress, announced the exciting news this week, it will be her first child with her husband of six-years, Christopher Jarecki and the star is over the moon!

The 34-year-old had previously said in April that she was seriously broody:

"I've been wanting to have a baby since I was two years old - I'm destined to be a mother."

Selma Blair

We're nearly at the end of the list now!

The most recent star to announce their pregnancy was Selma Blair! The Cruel Intentions actress confirmed the news this week that she is expecting her first child with fashion designer boyfriend Jason Bleick.

The 38-year-old star is only with her boyfriend a few months, following her split from Kath and Kim co-star Mikey Daly.

There's also rumors that Selma's been spotted wearing an engagement ring!

Last but not least, it still remains unconfirmed but rumors are rampant that actress Kate Hudson is expecting her first child with Muse front-man Mathew Bellamy!

The You, Me and Dupree actress already has a 7-year-old son named Ryder with ex-husband Chris Robinson. The star has been spotted wearing very frumpy clothing, and trying to hide her baby bump with big coats and jumpers.

A source told US magazine that:

"It was not planned. But they are excited and embracing it."

No word from her rep yet! Will Ryder be getting a half-brother/sister? Only time will tell!
