Justin Bieber's Grandparents Met In A Serious Car Accident Flipping Their Vehicle

The grandparents of teen pop star, Justin Bieber, 17, met in a car accident in their native Canada. Bruce and Diane Dale flipped their car on the icy roads near their home in Stratford, Ontario, but survived the accident. However, there are injuries. Bieber's grandfather broke his ribs, which is quite painful, resulting in hospitalization. This has been a rough holiday season for Bieber, as Mandy Teefy, the mother of his girlfriend, Selena Gomez, miscarried her baby before Christmas and has been hospitalized as well.

Bieber's mother Pattie stated on Twitter, "My parents got into a car accident today. They flipped into a ditch & totaled the car but thank God they are alive! My dad has broken ribs. Beautiful 23-year-old Lauren Scruggs, the model and blogger that worked as a stylist on the television show "Gossip Girl" is making a remarkable recovery, after accidentally walking into a plane propeller at night, proceeding a flight to look at Christmas lights. Two responding paramedics in Texas that received the call regarding the injured young woman, initially thought she would not survive her extensive injuries, which include a severed hand, cracked skill, damaged eye and shoulder, but began to pray for her after transporting her to the hospital.

Their prayers were answered, as she survived several surgeries and has been walking and talking again. Though she has no recollection of the accident, Scruggs does remember and know who she is, which is a good sign. She also began walking and counting the number of steps she takes. When given a mirror to look at her injuries, Scruggs replied "It's not that bad." Well, when you're that pretty, it would take a whole lot to change that (I'm sure you're still pretty). Her faith and positive attitude in this time of crisis will be beneficial to her. She is remarkable. Scruggs' family is asking the public to pray for her, as infection is a risk for people attempting to recover from such injuries.

Lauren lost her hand, sustained a cracked skull, damaged eye and shoulder in injuries that would have killed most...yet girlfriend popped back up and said I'm fine. 33-year-old British race car driver, Dan Wheldon, died in a tragic accident yesterday in Las Vegas, Nevada, during a 15-car collision on the track. It is being reported, drivers had complained prior to the race that the course was fast, even during practice, hitting speeds of 225 MPH. Wheldon was also said to be concerned over the "dirty air" from 34 cars. Over the past twenty years, several drivers have died on the track.

Wheldon, who lived in Florida, is survived by his wife Susie, 2-year-old son Sebastian and 7-month-old baby Oliver. The Judiciary Report sends its sincerest condolences to his family and friends. It is sad to see someone pass in the prime of their life.
