Initial estimates indicated, First Lady Michelle Obama, cost the U.S. taxpayer an additional $100,000 by leaving early for the family's Hawaii vacation. However, a new report in the mainstream press suggests, the entire episode has cost the U.S. taxpayers $4,000,000. This occurred during a financial depression.

Critics are slamming Mrs. Obama for feasting on sumptuous food and having extravagant parties on the island, during very hard economic times, when the nation has a record high poverty rate. Many Americans are losing their homes and can't afford a vacation, opting to stay at home. Seeing her live it up on the taxpayers dime and at extra cost is being roundly slammed on many a message board and in feedback sections online. Mainstream news outlets have picked up on it as well.

Even with her initial spending that drew the original criticism from journalists and bloggers, Mrs. Obama did not tone down the expenditures, making a greater show of the people's wealth while away from Washington. It makes the First Family appear out of touch with the rest of the country.

"Lauren Scruggs Tragedy: Parents of Model Who Walked Into Propeller Optimistic for Her Recovery"

Beautiful 23-year-old Lauren Scruggs, the model and blogger that worked as a stylist on the television show "Gossip Girl" is making a remarkable recovery, after accidentally walking into a plane propeller at night, proceeding a flight to look at Christmas lights. Two responding paramedics in Texas that received the call regarding the injured young woman, initially thought she would not survive her extensive injuries, which include a severed hand, cracked skill, damaged eye and shoulder, but began to pray for her after transporting her to the hospital.

Their prayers were answered, as she survived several surgeries and has been walking and talking again. Though she has no recollection of the accident, Scruggs does remember and know who she is, which is a good sign. She also began walking and counting the number of steps she takes. When given a mirror to look at her injuries, Scruggs replied "It's not that bad." Well, when you're that pretty, it would take a whole lot to change that (I'm sure you're still pretty). Her faith and positive attitude in this time of crisis will be beneficial to her. She is remarkable. Scruggs' family is asking the public to pray for her, as infection is a risk for people attempting to recover from such injuries.

Lauren lost her hand, sustained a cracked skull, damaged eye and shoulder in injuries that would have killed most...yet girlfriend popped back up and said I'm fine. Blogs are calling for a boycott of reality TV star, Kim Kardashian, after she filed for divorce from "blindsided" NBA star, Kris Humphries, after 10-weeks of marriage. Some women have pantyhose that last longer than that. Really Kim, you could do better. Why did you marry him in the first place, because from most bloggers' standpoint, it was for a royal family like wedding, publicity and millions in endorsements and product tie-ins. Most people do not respect that.

Bloggers are feeling like they have been played for fools, covering her wedding, giving her free publicity, believing she was actually in love and going to have a long marriage with Humphries, who does not want a divorce. I really did not cover the wedding, issuing very skeptical articles on the entire affair.

I do not like the way the entire Kardashian wedding was conducted, as it came across as the most commercialized nuptials in pop culture history. There have been many celebrities that have genuinely fallen in love and gotten married, but with Kardashian it does not appear that way. The singer did an interview recently in which the baby bump shifted, folded and began displaying a massive crease on the right side. It did not look natural at all, which does not help claims by mainstream outlets that she is faking a pregnancy.

The latest interview has led many to speculate once again that she is pretending to be pregnant for publicity and will adopt a baby in February 2012, her alleged due date, passing it off as her own. It does not look good that Knowles' baby bump appears faker than her weaves and if she truly is faking her pregnancy as blogs allege, that would denote serious mental illness, as many in the industry have stated regarding her for sometime.

"Basketball Wives" reality star, Evelyn Lozada, is suing mad over online claims she cheated on fiancé, football player, Chad "Ochocinco" Johnson, with his former Cincinnati Bengals teammate, Terrell Owens. So much so, she has filed a libel and defamation lawsuit in court against the originator of the online rumor, the frequently read website, Media Take Out, which was spooled into other blogs. Lozada filed suit in Miami, stating Media Take Out's claims about her are false.

Johnson now plays for the New England Patriots and Lozada has accompanied him to Boston. Media Take Out should not be surprised that Lozada is angry. After all, she told off her own best friend on television, Jennifer Williams, over being unsupportive on a radio show, over her relationship with Johnson, so what did you think she would do over a blogger she doesn't know.

Lozada is not playing when it comes to milk dud (translation: milk dud is slang for a bald black man, named after the delicious chocolate candy of the same name). Ironically, I don't think their relationship will last, for different reasons, but that's their business.

This is why you have to make sure you can back up claims on your blogs and websites or it can lead to legal trouble. I do not publish anything online unless I know I can back it up. This has led to a solid, reliable and bountiful exclusives page. I know for a fact Media Take Out has printed stories it did not fact check. I've seen items on their website I knew to be untrue based on what I personally know, saw or was told.

One of their biggest blunders came courtesy of an obsessed fan of rapper Jay-Z (girl, you must have a thing for camels) who sent in a story to them, which she later admitted on the Dr. Phil television show, was packed with lies, but they printed it as truth.

Publicists also routinely send them items to print and Media Take Out does not verify where the information came from, publishing claims that have been derived from criminal wiretapping, hacking and phone hacking, which is a serious set of felonies. You have to know what you are publishing or the legal consequences can get quite high.

It's amazing that quite a few male journalists and guy bloggers love to brag about how Pitt chose the younger and promiscuous Jolie, over Aniston, but are now silent about her dating a younger and more manly guy than Pitt. They will write women are old, yet when male stars look haggard they don't mention it. I don't care that Pitt is looking older, as that's not what's important in life (it happens to everyone that lives long enough). I just don't care for his selfishness or support the male dominated attitude that women are to be picked apart for aging, while men get a free pass.

The movie "The Lion King 3D" which is a re-release featuring a twentysomething male lion, has beaten his "Money Ball" movie at the box office this weekend for the top spot.
