Conrad Murray Appeals His Manslaughter Conviction In The Death Of Singer Michael Jackson

Michael Jackson

Conrad Murray, the former doctor that tended to pop star Michael Jackson in the months before he died, overdosing him on the pharmaceutical drug, Propofol, has filed an appeal in his manslaughter conviction in connection with the singer's death in his Bel Air home at the age of 49.

Murray was overwhelmingly found guilty by a Los Angeles jury, who were in complete unison regarding his criminal misconduct. Judge Michael Pastor also threw the book at Murray, whilst issuing a stern lecture on the lethal consequences of his wanton decisions for money.

Conrad Murray

Murray remains in jail and is representing himself for the appeal. An ill-advised documentary Murray did into the death of Jackson featured him speaking ill of his attorney as "unprepared." Clearly, he feels he can do better. The Judiciary Report would be genuinely surprised if Murray will be successful in overturning the conviction, as the jury was so unanimous and there are no obvious discrepancies or blaring omissions in the prosecution's case.

However, having stated that, I don't have access to all the case documents from the trial, to poke any possible holes in it, but I did watch it online and the prosecution put on a good, solid case. It is going to be hard to deconstruct what the prosecution in this case did and somehow prove it was wrong. Murray's worst enemy right now is the evidence.

Michael Jackson's Doctor Conrad Murray Will Likely Only Serve...

Two Years In Jail Or On House Arrest

Conrad Murray, the doctor of pop singer Michael Jackson at the time of his death from a Propofol overdose, has been sentenced to 4-years in jail in California. Due to overcrowding issues, experts estimate Murray will only serve half that time, while TMZ states he will get house arrest, due to being a first time offender.

Michael Jackson

Murray deserves more time in jail, actually prison, as someone has died in his care, under preventable circumstances, based in recklessness and negligence, which any doctor or scientist should know would induce death. You just can't give someone that much medication of that class (drug designation) in one go. Murray is no fool. He should have known.

Conrad Murray

Judge Pastor gave Murray the maximum sentence he could mete out under state law, which the singer's mother, Katherine Jackson commended. The rest is up to the jail system. Pastor cited Murray's shocking lack of remorse and refusal to accept responsibility in the singer's death, which is true. In a letter to the judge requesting leniency, Murray's mother expressed more contrition than he did, when she was not the one that committed the crime. All the signs are there Murray obtained potent pharmaceutical drugs in the wrong medical setting for a quick payday and fame by association.

Conrad Murray Slams His Defense Attorneys Over The Michael Jackson Manslaughter Trial

video platformvideo managementvideo solutionsvideo player

An angry Dr. Conrad Murray slammed his lawyers for being unprepared and confused during his manslaughter trial in the death of pop star Michael Jackson. This anger is no doubt compounded by the guilty verdict a Los Angeles, California jury unanimously rendered this week.

Michael Jackson

At the end of the day, it would have been a tough sell to convince any reasonable person that Murray acted properly in pumping Jackson full of so many pharmaceutical drugs and in such large doses. The prosecution referred to his medical work as "an experiment" and clearly one gone horribly wrong, as Propofol is not approved for the treatment of insomnia, which Jackson suffered from.

Michael Jackson

The Judiciary Report is still astonished the potent anesthetic was used in this manner, outside of a controlled hospital setting. It was a disaster waiting to happen. One could see the toxicity building up in Jackson's system during his last days, as his skin appeared gray in some pictures and his face gaunt. The warning signs were there that it was damaging his health.

Conrad Murray, the former physician of the late pop singer, Michael Jackson, told interviewers, the entertainer had psychological problems, because the amount of medicine he was (improperly) given should have put him to sleep. He told interviewers "I could put an elephant to sleep" but what Jackson was being given, regarding the strong anesthetic Propofol is "not normal." So why did you give it to him.

Michael Jackson

I am not of the belief anyone should be dispensing medication in an indiscriminate fashion and in such large doses. Jackson did request Propofol, which he referred to as his "milk" due to its liquid, white appearance, but it was Murray's responsibility to say no. He was testing his mortality every night in administering the drug, until one day the unthinkable happened.

Michael Jackson’s Doctor Violates Patient Confidentiality In Telling The World He Regularly Wet The Bed

Michael Jackson

The recently convicted former doctor of Michael Jackson, has added insult to injury in a documentary about the singer that aired this week on NBC. Dr. Conrad Murray, who is currently in jail in Los Angeles, California, on involuntary manslaughter charges in connection with the singer’s death of a pharmaceutical drug overdose in 2009, revealed embarrassing details about Jackson.

Jackie Jackson and Michael Jackson

Murray insultingly stated in the documentary, "The bedroom that he slept in I had to persuade him, eventually to have it cleaned. He peed the bed. It did not smell good. It was mildew, and I had to get it clean. Who would ever believe that a man his age would still be wetting his bed?"

Conrad Murray found guilty of involuntary manslaughter this month

He was probably peeing the bed because you were drugging him up. When people are too doped up and drowsy to get up and go to the bathroom, that will happen. You supplied and administered ridiculous amounts of drugs to a man struggling with substance abuse. You bear responsibility in this that you refuse to accept.

Conrad Murray being led away in cuffs

Furthermore, why did you have to take it there about the bedwetting. It wasn't exactly a compliment. Why did you have to disclose that to the public and embarrass the man in death. I think that is highly unprofessional. What happened to doctor patient confidentiality.

Conrad Murray Found Guilty Of Involuntary Manslaughter In The Death Of Michael Jackson

Dr. Conrad Murray, the physician of the late pop star, Michael Jackson, who died in 2009 from a pharmaceutical drug overdose at age 49, was unanimously found guilty today of involuntary manslaughter by a jury in Los Angeles, California. Murray was taken away in handcuffs, with the jury finding him culpable for overmedicating the singer into an early grave via overdose. The judge and jury did a good job during the case and should be commended for their efforts.

Murray will be sentenced shortly and faces up to four years in prison. However, as he has no priors, he may only receive months in the Los Angeles County Jail or even house arrest, which would be a miscarriage of justice. The government needs to allot more money to build new prisons in California, rather than wasting taxpayer funds on companies like Solyndra.

Michael Jackson

Often, stars such as Lindsay Lohan, break the law via DUI, endanger the public, then waltz out of prison within hours, on longer sentences, as she did today. This ought not be, as many criminals are not deterred from committing crime, believing in Los Angeles they will get next to no time.

Side Bar: it's amazing, in Florida and Texas, you commit certain crimes and you'll have to struggle really hard for them not to fry you up like a catfish (in the electric chair). In California, you'll be out in 1/20th the time. That needs to change.

The Beagle breed was used as their test subjects. Jackson was an animal lover and so is his family. Any animal lovers on the jury during Murray's involuntary manslaughter trial will not be amused at this news, as the entire experiment seems so unnecessary. I don't know why the defense and Dr. Murray thought this would help their case.

A sad autopsy photo of pop star Michael Jackson was shown to the jury today, during the involuntary manslaughter trial of his doctor, Conrad Murray. The photo will definitely make an impact. People are used to seeing Jackson on stage, energetic and full of life. To see him dead and helpless is sad. This tragedy was so preventable. Dr. Murray should not have been giving Jackson the drug Propofol, which ultimately claimed his life. He bears some responsibility in this.

New Court Evidence Reveals Conrad Murray Lied About Michael Jackson Administering Fatal Dose Of Propofol

Michael Jackson

Last week, the Judiciary Report again disputed Dr. Conrad Murray's claims that the late pop singer, Michael Jackson, administered the fatal dose of the anesthetic Propofol, which led to the star's death. This week, the prosecution in Murray's manslaughter trial, presented clear cut evidence that revealed, Jackson's fingerprints were NOT on the Propofol bottles at the crimes scene. Well, that's your butt, then.

Conrad Murray

That whole lie Murray concocted and his defense team ran with, defaming a dead man in an attempt to stay out of prison, has been decimated and destroyed. Next we will hear, Jackson, who had so much to live for, namely his children that he spent so much time with and a comeback tour he was so excited about, overdosed himself, cleaned his fingerprints from all the Propofol bottles, so when he died, the police wouldn't know who did it.

Compelling testimony was also provided by hospital cardiologist, Dr. Thao Nguyen, who stated Murray lied about the drugs he gave Jackson, only mentioning Ativan and not Propofol. This sent the doctors in the emergency room in the wrong direction. Nguyen also stated, Murray did not answer her questions regarding the times the drug Ativan was administered to Jackson or when the paramedics were called to the singer's home. Murray told Nguyen, "He did not have any concept of time. He did not have a watch." Not a good trait for a doctor (Murray) to possess.

Dr. Conrad Murray's Three Girlfriends Testify Against Him In The Michael Jackson Manslaughter Trial

Conrad Murray

Dr. Conrad Murray's three girlfriends, Michelle Bella, Sade Anding and Nicole Alvarez, testified for the prosecution today in the Michael Jackson manslaughter trial, regarding the entertainer dying of a pharmaceutical drug overdose. The testimony did not bode well for Murray.

Nicole Alvarez

It is alleged, Murray called one of his girlfriends on his mobile phone, while Jackson lay dying from an inappropriately administered Propofol (anesthetic) dosage, outside of a hospital setting, resulting in a deadly overdose. Murray was even having the drug Propofol delivered to the lobby of his girlfriend's apartment building, where anyone could have stolen or tampered with the shipments. He also used the fact that he is Jackson's doctor to impress women he later bedded (girl, don't let him give you Propofol).

Sade Anding

The more comes out about this case, the more disturbing it becomes. Murray's conduct is laced with a deceptive unprofessionalism at every turn. It really should not be surprising that something went wrong in his medical treatment of Jackson, as any doctor willing to compromise his ethics in the manner Murray did, by treating insomnia with a potent anesthetic, is going to do other things they should not, which could be detrimental to a patient's health.

Michelle Bella

On a side note, male television anchors today, commented on how attractive Murray's girlfriends are, implying things about his lifestyle in the process. One has to wonder, how he could manage a successful medical practice...and three young women at the same time.

Paramedic: Michael Jackson's Life Could Have Been Saved Had Dr. Murray Called 911 Sooner

Richard Senneff

Los Angels paramedic, Richard Senneff, took the stand in the Dr. Conrad Murray manslaughter trial, in relation to the pharmaceutical drug overdose and death of pop singer, Michael Jackson. On September 30, 2011, Senneff stated the same thing Judiciary Report did two days prior on September 28, 2011 (The Lies Dr. Conrad Murray Told About Michael Jackson's Death Are Being Unraveled Via Testimony) and in previous articles as well, had Dr. Murray called 911 right away, Jackson's life could have been saved. The Judiciary Report firmly believes this.

When I was sixteen years old, I lived in a small apartment building on the second floor with my mom. One day, one of my neighbors in his twenties that lived on the first floor, collapsed on the ground in the back garden. I ran down stairs only to see him in distress, eyes open wide, not speaking, as a couple other neighbors gathered around him.

Conrad Murray

I suspected it was his heart, as he still appeared to be breathing and it did not really look like a seizure. Therefore, I did not think it was respiratory failure. I immediately ran back up the stairs and called 911. Due to his grandmother speaking Spanish and I English, I was not sure of what was going on, neither did my mom.

We started praying to Jesus to spare his life, while huddled around him and waiting for the paramedics. Shortly before the paramedics arrived, he managed to raise his upper body, while opening his eyes even wider staring at us, brought his right hand around and clutched his chest by his heart, then collapsed backward completely unresponsive. We all screamed, because it looked like he had flatlined. Moments after the paramedics arrived and rushed him to the hospital.

Michael Jackson's kids and his sister, LaToya Jackson, who believes he was murdered for his copyrighted catalog, which Sony unethically fought for full control over

Miraculously, two weeks later, we saw him again, in the backyard garden of the apartment, smiling and happy, glad to be alive. By God's grace, his life was spared. He got to the hospital quickly, with the paramedics, then doctors working to restart his heart. So, it can be done.

To borrow from the Golden Girls, when the character Blanche was asked if she has ever dated a married man she replied, "Blanche Devereaux never goes out with another woman's husband. Except for that one time, but that was not my fault. She was pronounced dead. Those paramedics never give up!"

Michael Jackson

Had Dr. Murray called 911 right away, the paramedics would have worked on Jackson and rushed him to the hospital, saving his life. They deal with overdoses all the time and can successfully combat and counteract them with medication and equipment, but not if one waits until the patient is soundly dead and give them misleading information as to what caused the medical event.

Murray has no excuse. If a sixteen-year old with no medical training knew to immediately call 911 - he as a trained physician should have known better. There are well-documented stories of people of all ages calling 911 from mobile phones and receiving help, that did not know the address of where they were at the time, but emergency services were able to quickly trace the calls and pinpoint their exact location. Something sinister took place in the Jackson home that day and for justice to be served, the truth needs to come out.

This brings the Judiciary Report back to a point made last week (Holes In The Michael Jackson Death Timeline Reveals Someone Is Lying). There is something wrong with the timeline in Jackson's death. Something is off there and it is due to the misinformation Dr. Murray keeps providing. Jackson did not begin dying or die when Murray claims he did. Murray stated Jackson was still alive with a pulse, when being loaded into the ambulance. However, the Judiciary Report is of the belief, Jackson was long gone, which is why the paramedics were unsuccessful in reviving him.

Remember, Murray told police (on tape) Jackson came to him at 4:30AM demanding Propofol and has been ambiguous regarding when he administered it to him. The paramedics weren't called until 12:21PM, arriving at the home at 12:26PM, which is fairly quick. Jackson's body should not have been in the state it was in if he was still alive at the time.

People vs. Dr. Conrad Murray

Updated 9/30/11 at 8:45AM - One of the paramedics who rushed to save Michael Jackson's life at 100 N. Carolwood Drive just testified ... if Murray had called 911 immediately, Michael Jackson's life might have been saved. Richard Senneff said Murray told him he called 911 the second he realized MJ was in distress, when in fact there was an approximate 20-minute delay.

Paramedic Testifies Michael Jackson Could Have Been Saved If 9-1-1 Was Called Sooner

Posted on Sep 30, 2011 @ 10:15AM - In stunning testimony Friday a paramedic claimed that he could of saved Michael Jackson’s life, if Dr. Conrad Murray had called 9-1-1 immediately after discovering the singer’s lifeless body. Senneff said that Jackson was "flatlined" and appeared dead when rescuers arrived at his house on the day of his death, on June 25, 2009. He also said that at no time during the 42 minutes he was with him did he see any signs of life in the 50-year-old star.

Blame Being Shifted From Conrad Murray In The Michael Jackson Manslaughter Trial

Conrad Murray

Blame is being shifted from Dr. Conrad Murray in the manslaughter death of the late pop star, Michael Jackson, to members of the singer's staff. The defense in the criminal trial is wrongly trying to blame Jackson's bodyguard, Alberto Alvarez and his personal chef, Kai Chase, for not calling 911 fast enough, claiming the doctor told both of them to do so.

Kai Chase on the stand

Another perplexing item is Murray instructing the chef to get Jackson's preteen son Prince for help when the singer was unresponsive from a pharmaceutical drug overdose the doctor unethically administered. None of these individuals are trained medical professionals. What were they going to do during this tragedy that Murray could not as a doctor.

Michael Jackson

Murray needs to man up and accept the blame in the case, because if he did not supply the Propofol in the incorrect medical setting (meant for hospital use with a nurse and anesthesiologist present) Jackson would not have died in that bedroom from intoxication and cardiac arrest.

As Jackson Would Say "Who Is It"

Michael Jackson pictured in the hospital dead from a pharmaceutical drug overdose

Testimony in the involuntary manslaughter trial of Michael Jackson's doctor, Conrad Murray, has left holes in the timeline regarding the moment the pop singer died from a pharmaceutical drug overdose. Newly released interviews in the criminal case, reveal Murray stating Jackson came to him at 4:30AM when he could not sleep, begging for Propofol.

Conrad Murray in criminal court

However, according to other released statements, the paramedics were summoned to the property at nearly 12:20PM in the morning. What happened during those hours, as Dr. Murray is withholding the truth. When did Jackson really die. The Judiciary Report does not believe Jackson administered the fatal dose of Propofol. It is a defense strategy in court and nothing more, which does not explain away or excuse the 40 minutes Murray took to call 911 in the presence of witnesses in the house.

Conrad Murray Wanted $5 Million To Be Michael Jackson's Doctor On Tour For A Few Months

Conrad Murray, the doctor of the late pop star, Michael Jackson, who overdosed him by giving him too much Propofol anesthetic, along with other pharmaceutical meds, demanded $5,000,000 from tour promoter, AEG, to be the singer's physician on tour for a few months.

This was an extraordinary sum to request, betraying the doctor's greed. Jackson wouldn't even clear $5,000,000 per night on tour, after expenses, yet Murray thought this exorbitant sum was acceptable. Murray behaved like a mercenary and it clouded his judgment in a number of things, in relation to the medical care, if you can call it that, he gave Jackson.

Michael Jackson's two oldest kids, Paris and Prince, cried when they saw him laying dead in bed, after a pharmaceutical drug overdose, administered by his physician, Dr. Conrad Murray. A Jackson bodyguard stated, "Paris was on the ground balled up and crying. Prince had a really shocked, just slowly crying kind of look."

The traumatic event was recalled in court during the trial of his physician Dr. Murray, who was very negligent and unprofessional. The children should not have been allowed to see such a thing, under any circumstances.
