Cheryl Cole To Keep Married Name And Says She Wants Children!

Songstress Cheryl Cole is gracing October's cover of British Vogue magazine. And in her interview she opens up about her divorce, and why she's not going back to her maiden name.

Friends of the 'Fight For This Love' singer had said she admired Diana Ross for keeping her married name as that's what the public knew her as.And with the heading "My fresh start", Cole tells the mag she won't be going back to Tweedy.

For the first time, she opens up about her cheating ex-hubby, footballer Ashley Cole admitting that she feels betrayed by him and being glad the marriage is over:

"I’ve got to take everything that’s happened and learn from it. I accept that that’s a chapter of my life that’s finished. And I’ve just got to be grateful that I’ve got so many good things going on. I have."

She continued saying that although the end of your marriage was horrible it could have been a lot harder:

"And there’s no children, you know? Some people’s lives fall apart, are turned upside-down. Of course, it [the split] is heartbreaking, but it’s not anything remotely like it could have been and I’m very, very thankful for that."

Although nothing is mentioned in the mag about her rumoured boyfriend Derek Hough, the lovely X-Factor judge admitted that she feels it's time to have children now, and she's ready to be a mother:

"That’s definitely something I want to achieve. It’s the toughest job in the world but I know it must be the most rewarding, too. I am ready now. I’m 27. I’m a woman, not a girl any more. I really feel that."

Derek To Be A Daddy Soon?

 And it seems like the humble singer doesn't want to have children to strengthen a realtionship, like most celebs, but because she wants to give all her love and attention to someone else for a change:

"Thinking about yourself constantly isn’t so healthy. I suppose that’s the point of having children, isn’t it? Being able to live your life through them instead of you, having them be your motivation? That’s the ‘‘right’’ thing, I’m thinking, when you love someone more than you love yourself."

Poor Cheryl has been through an awful lot, with a horrible split from the asshole that is Ashley Cole and her battle with Malaria. But the sparkle is back in her eye now and she's ready to take on the world again!
