Lindsay Lohan Reveals The Truth About Her Addictions!

We knew there was a tell-all interview coming after her time in prison and stint in Rehab, and here it is!

Lohan got both of her sentences cut down during her 'punishment'. 90 days in jail turned into 14 days and 90 days in rehab then quickly became 30 days. So the washed-up actress hasn't had it that rough by any means!

In a new interview with Vanity Fair magazine she says she wants to turn her life around and become a proper actress again:
"I want my career back. I know that I'm a damn good actress, and it's been my passion since I was a child, and I know that when I care about something, I put 100 per cent and more into it,"
Yeah, like drinking Lindsay! Although that's been more than 100%!

The Mean Girls actress goes on to say that getting back to normal is going to be hard and she's some adjusting to do:
"I have to support myself. I have to pay for my apartment. I have to pay for food. People root for me and say they want me to work, but then everyone is against me."

But like all celeb's who come out of rehab, Lohan claims she's a changed woman, and she'll 'never' go back down that road again (yeah right) she says:

"I'm a completely different person now, I'm not getting any younger. I want the respect that I had when I was doing great movies. And if that takes not going out to a club at night then so be it. It's not fun anyway.I don't care. It's the same thing every time."

By what Lindsay's saying it does seem like she wants to be respected again. If you heard the name Lindsay Lohan in the last year or read it in the paper it was normally accompanied with words like "drugs" , "alcohol" "partying" and "fighting" but it looks like all she wants is positive press now, and if she stays away from the nightclubs I can't see why not!

Lindsay also admits in the interview that she has mixed with drugs before, but her Docotors in the rehab clinic she attended advised she was mis-diagnosed and didn't have an addiction to drugs, Lohan says she was messed up in the past:
"I've admitted to the things that I've done, you know, dabbling in certain things and trying things because I was young and curious and thought it was okay because other people were doing it and other people put it in front of me.And I see what happened in my life because of it."
Linsday admits that she felt pressure to be like everyone else in celeb land:
"I would look up to those girls… the Britney’s and whatever. And I would be like, 'I want to be like that.' "
But that's still no excuse to be messing with drugs and endangering yourself! Lohan's world started to crumbel when she was arrested for a DUI in 2007, where she took to her car under the influence of drink and drigs and chased her very scared assistant at the time. But she says everything she did wasn't that bad, because she was only young:
'These were my college years, but they were in the public eye. I was irresponsible. I was experimenting.I was doing certain things that people do ten times more of when they're in college"
But honest as the interview seems, she ends on a note that is a bit fishy, when asked about her addiction to drugs, which the public beleive she has had at least once in her life, Lindsay was in complete denial:

"I've never abused prescription drugs. I never have - never in my life. I have no desire to. That's not who I am."

So did we get it wrong..has she just been a young girl having harmless fun? Or is she a serious troubled girl still in danger? I guess we'll have to wait and see!
