Too Cool For School |
Kristen Stewart has said she's glad she quit school at the age of 13.
The Twilight star said that when she was in school she "couldn't relate" to kids her own age. Apparently she was known as a "bitch" when the children at school saw her in her first movie The Safety Of Objects.
She's said she was basically bullied in school:
"I didn't walk around talking about doing movies but then someone saw an old movie I was in, The Safety of Objects, and realised that the little boy in it had grown up into this girl - me. And then I got a lot of, 'She's such a bitch! And yet most of these kids had never even spoken to me."Rob Pattinson's squeeze said she's happy she decided to leave school at an early age and focus on her acting career instead:
"I was glad to leave school. I was missing a lot of classes and they were failing me. I couldn't relate to kids my own age. They are mean and don't give you any chance. Once you have done with school, you realise that it is just a smaller version of life, and really I have felt that I should have been an adult since I was aged about 5."I'm sure she must have felt different, but dropping out of school at such a young age is a bad idea, even stars like Dakota Fanning, another Twilight star, has been schooled up until now, having a private tutor on set of all her movies. But Kristen is adamant that she was always years ahead of others her age:
"I remember when I turned 18 everyone asked me if I felt more mature, but I felt the same as I always did. Juggling work and school, and helping my mother; I've always had a lot of responsibility."Kristen seems to have an obsession with being 'different' and unlike everyone else. She's trying a bit too hard though. If it wasn't for Twilight her life would be a struggle, so she should be grateful, instead of constantly moaning about fame!
