Kara Tointon Says That Her Romance With Strictly Come Dancing Partner Was Unexpected

Winniner of this years Strictly Come Dancing Kara Tointon has said that her romance with her dancing partner Artem Chigvintsev was totally unexpected!

The former EastEnders actress, said that she was done with men for a while, after she went through a really tough split boyfriend Joe Swash, also an Eastenders actor. But once the show started Kara started to change her mind about men:

"I wasn't looking for a relationship. I had decided not to date for the next two years. I was having a moment out [but] I was attracted to Artem because he is a real gentlemen and I haven't met one of those in a while. He's gorgeous inside and out."

The actress also confirmed that she'd be spending the festive season with her new boyfriend and that she hopes this relationship works out:

"It is a bit like a holiday romance.And you don't know until the whole weird experience is over as to how it will go.I can't wait for Artem to meet my friends and just to do normal things and see what happens from there."But I would hate to set myself up for a fall. I have met an amazing person and we shall see what happens. But I hope it works out."
