So it's all official now, Ryan Reynolds and Scarlett Johansson are back on the market.
Out of all the Hollywood splits this year, this break-up has seemed to shock people the most (except me, knew this one was coming!). And now it's been mae official as both actors have simultaneously filed for divorce.
The couple who married in 2008 announced their split on the 14th of December and lodged the documents in Los Angeles Superior Court on Thursday.
In a joint statement the couple had staed that they had started their relationship "with love and it is with love and kindness we leave it".
Reports have claimed that Scarlett initiated the split and that she had been unhappy for a long time. Apparently the Vicky Christina Barcelona actress felt Ryan focused more of his attention on his career than his marriage.
It will be a lonely christmas for these two! What a horrible time of year to divorce :(
