I don't know many people who feel this way!
Avril Lavigne has said that despite being famous at 16 she still had a really normal childhood and loved being a teenager!
The What The Hell singer said:
"I had the most normal childhood in a small town and went to high school.I had the normal experience. Then, when I was 16, I was gone."
The now 26-year-old said that fame hadn't changed her and that she's always been comfortable in her own skin:
"I think I've always just been comfortable with who I am and I never feel I have to fit in with a certain crowd.In school, I hung out with all kinds of people from different groups. During my last year in high school, I was with a skater group. I would know people from the goth group and the prep group, but my main group was skating, which meant hanging out with the boys."
The guy she's hanging out with these days is The Hills star Brody Jenner. He looks like a Sk8ter boy to me!
