Gwyneth Paltrow has admitted that there have been problems in her marriage with Chris Martin.
The Country Strong star, who tied the knot with the Coldplay frontman back in December 2003, said that marriage has been hard, but the pair try to communicate as much as possible:
"Marriage is hard. Chris and I have had our ups and downs, big time. Marriage is way more complicated than just who gets to control the remote. But hopefully we keep heading in the same direction and getting through the obstacles."
The couple are parents to 6-year-old Apple and 4-year-old Moses. The actress also said that even though they've had problems they've never shown it in public:
"If I'm looking grumpy in public or if Chris and I leave a restaurant separately, it's only because we don't want to encourage photographers."
Gwyenth once said that the biggest mistake she ever made was turning down ex-boyfriend Brad Pitt's marriage proposal. I wonder if she still regrets that now?
