Cheryl Cole Not Going To Be A Judge On The US X Factor!

I'm not going to lie, I saw this one coming!

Sources close to Simon Cowell have revealed Cheryl Cole is not going to be taking a seat on the judging panel on the new US X Factor, but will feature as a mentor instead. So the 'Promise This' singer will only be there to aid Simon at his house in Beverly Hills, not actually feature on the show.

The insider said despite Simon wanting her to judge, it's not going to happen:

"Simon desperately wants Cheryl to be a judge but if that's knocked back by Fox chiefs the next option is to start her as a mentor. It would be a way to test how she's received in America. Plus viewers would be able to warm to her first, rather than having her thrust upon them by going straight on the panel. The truth is, nothing has been signed and the producers still aren't convinced."

I don't think she'll ever make it as a judge to be honest. Yes she's gorgeous and her music is current, but Americans will not understand her accent, and by the looks of things, they don't want to!
