Passion For Fashion - SAG Awards 2011

Hey guys,

Here's my Passion For Fashion SAG awards Edition!

There was some AMAZING outfits last night at the awards. Thankfully most of the celebs steered clear of black on this red carpet, there was far too much at the Golden Globes!

Lea Michele

First up is Glee star Lea Michele!

I have to start off with one of my favorite outfits of the night! The colour and style of this dress looks absolutely stunning and Lea! The seriously low cut top is very similar to the dress she wore on the most recent cover of Cosmo... and I'm loving it!

Belted gowns were a huge trend last night and Lea seriously worked it. Loving that silver is coming back in fashion, she really killed the Red Carpet last night!


Mila Kunis

Drawing at first place for best outfit of the night has to Black Swan star Mila Kunis!

She really stood out at the awards last night in this tropical blood red dress. The colour looked amazing against her sallow skin and chocolate brown hair.

Like Lea she's rocking the belt look and I'm loving the long soft curls, she really made an effort compared to the Golden Globes!

Whatever stylist picked out that outfit deserves an award.


Eva Longoria

Another woman who seriously outdid herself from the Golden Globes was Eva Longoria!

At the last red carpet event Eva looked like she was headed to a funeral in a long, full length black number but last night she dazzled in this very revealing white gown.

I love how racy she went last night, every time she turned you got a glimpse of a little sneaky side-boob but she really pulled it off!

I wonder if she's wearing brighter colours now because of a certain new man in her life? (Eduardo Cruz cough cough). I would definitely be smiling too, if I were her!

Natalie Portman

Once again, Black Swan star Natalie Portman looked absolutely stunning at the SAG awards last night.

She wore a white Azzaro-clad gown and was wearing $2 million in Tiffany jewelery! Yes, those beautiful yellow diamond earrings were $2 million and their elegance suited her style down to the ground!

We're definitely seeing a lot more of her baby bump now and she's sticking to keeping her hair pulled back.

Natalie walked away with the SAG for Best Actress, and I'm guessing she'll be walking away with the Oscar soon as well!

Absolutely flawless!

Julianna Margulies

I'm a bit unsure about this one!

Julliana walked away with Best Actress for her TV series The Good Wife, but I don't think I can award her for good style just yet.

Although I really love the deep red she chose, the style of the dress is just... meh!

I thought the shape was un-flattering and I think she should have left her hair down, and her skin looked extremely pale up against the dark red.

Maybe next time?


Jane Lynch

Another celeb that didn't really get it right was Glee star Jane Lynch!

I hate to say it because I love her as an actress bit this 'gown' was a complete disaster. The lilac colour, first of all, was horrible, who wears lilac after the age of 12?

The puff skirt really didn't suit Jane also, the whole outfit looked very forced, definitely not her natural style.

Jennifer Lawrence

Back to some of the outfits I really loved and Best Actress nominee Jennifer Lawrence look gorgeous last night!

She looked seriously cute in this bright pink number, loving the black velvet ribbon around her waist, it really made her stand out!

Once again she had the hair tied back, everyone seemed to be afraid to let their hair down last night!

January Jones and John Hamm
 

Next up, it's my favorite fictional TV couple Don and Betty Draper!

Oh how I love these two! January Jones looked very sophisticated last night, but a lot more shy compared to her Golden Globes look. That daring red dress really had some hearts pounding!

But here she looks just as beautiful and beside her Mad Men co-star John Hamm how couldn't she? These two look great together, maybe we could be seeing a real-life romance soon? Well she did just break up with her boyfriend!



Tina Fey

Someone who really surprised me last night was 30 Rock creator and star Tina Fey!

Tina normally always wears black, so seeing her in a vibrant bright colour was a shocker and she looked amazing! The style of this gown really suits Tina's figure as it hugs her curves!

Keep up with the bright colours Tina!

Kim Kardashian

Next up is reality TV star Kim Kardashian.

This time the socialite opted for a Grecian style purple gown, and I really wasn't feeling it!

Kim had Tweeted before the awards that she wasn't wearing any fake hair or eyelashes... well maybe that's what was missing!

I really love Kim's curves but this dress just didn't work for me, a more fitted style would have looked better, this just looks sloppy!

Christina Hendricks

Last but certainly not least is Mad Men star Christina Hendricks!

The curvaceous actress looked jaw-droopingly gorgeous last night in this black sparkly wrap-around. With her fire red hair and dark smouldering eyes, Christina looked every inch of a Hollywood bombshell!

She just gets it right every single time, and as usual she was glowing all night!
