Yes, I totally called this one guys!
It's being reported today that Robbie Williams is will be replacing Simon Cowell on The X Factor. Apparently producers are looking to get the 'Angels' singer on the judging panel when Simon leaves to film the U.S version of the talent competition.
An insider at the show says Robbie's a shoe in:
"Robbie is a huge name so would naturally be a massive ratings hit. Not only that, he is also straight-talking and comical. We all understand that right now America is where Simon's focus has to be. There aren't many people that can fill his shoes, but Robbie just might be able to do it."
The singer is touring with Take That until July, so there could be some conflict around audition time, but as we all know, the judges only see the very late stages of the auditions anyway.
But band mate Gary Barlow has come out and said Robbie is only a temporary member of the band, so it sounds like he's free to go!
