Actress Michelle Williams has said that she was "devastated" with the recent interviewed that aired, about her loss of Heath Ledger.
The Blue Valentine star has claimed that the interview where she talked about Heath's death as a "year of magical thinking" was heavily edited:
"I just had an experience with Nightline that got edited in such a way that seemed as if I did go too far. It was a three-hour interview that was edited in such a way that was devastating to me. They used those few quotes and the way they edited the piece to sell the interview, and it appeared as if I were breaking some kind of silence and sitting down with the express purpose to discuss something that is very private to me."
However Michelle did open up this time, saying she really wants to talk about Heath, but it is such a struggle since she lost so much of her life after he died:
"I experienced a lot of loss after his death. I lost my city because of all the paparazzi descending upon us. I actually lost my journal during that time, oddly enough. I literally couldn't hold on to anything. It felt as if things were literally slipping through my fingers. Things were just streaming away from me. I lost my sense of humor. I'm still sort of looking for that."It's clear Michelle has been to hell and back, having to deal with her ex's death and to take care of their 5-year-old daughter Matilda. But it seems like she is a lot stronger now.
R.I.P Heath x
