Ryan Gosling and Michelle Williams Talk 'Oral Sex'

"Sex felt real"

Blue Valentine co-stars Ryan Gosling and Michelle Williams have been talking about the recent controversy over a sex scene in their new flick.

At first the movie was deemed too adult for a proper audience and was banned in certain cinema's across the U.S. But after some serious complaining on the part of the actors and film producers, the flick was rated at 18's.

So why was it banned? Well there is a saucy scene where Ryan goes down on Michelle and apparently audiences thought it was 'too real'. That sounds ridiculous! When asked about the issue, Ryan said the scene is not sordid:
"The sex felt real - it wasn't sexy or 'a sex scene', and that's why we got into trouble. You shouldn't be penalized for doing a good job."

Ryan, who's rumored to be dating Michelle in real life, said that their entire love story felt real on and off camera:
"Most movies when you're acting you're trying to block out the lights and the trailers. Here, you had to remind yourself you were making a film. Michelle and I found it hard to take off our wedding bands when it was over. We'd built this castle and then had to tear it down."

It wouldn't be the first time Ryan's felll for a co-star, he famously dated Rachel McAdams after they became apart of one of the greatest love stories of all time: The Notebook. So it wouldn't be surprising if the actor got caught up in an on-screen romance again!

Meanwhile, Michelle has said that she loves the movie and is proud of the oral sex scene with Ryan:
"I thought, 'I've never seen that before in a movie and I'm proud to be the first. Good on us for making that happen,'. As the woman in the situation that was in question, I found absolutely nothing scandalous, tawdry or disgusting about it."
You two are so together, just admit it!
